INSTRUCTIONS
•Makesureyourskinisdryandfreeofhairinthe
sternumzone
•Openoneofthemetallisedenvelopescontainingthe
patch,separateitcarefullyfromtheprotectorandfixit
onthesternumasshownintheimageontheright(the
widepartofthepatchatthetop).Makesureitiswell
fixedtotheskinanditdoesnotmove.Thesecond
patchisaspare.
•Ifitisnotinserted,connectthedevicetotheadapter
and,oncetogether,attachthemtothepatchwitha
click.Makesureitdoesnotmove.
•Toturnthedeviceon,pressthecentrebuttonfor~2
seconds.Youwillhearabeepindicatingthatthedevice
isstartingtorecordthecardiacelectricalsignal(ifyou
lookinamirror,youwillseeagreenlightblinkingevery
~20seconds).
•FormoreinformationontheBittiumFaros™ECG
electrodeandsensor,pleaserefertotheonline
manufacturersquickguide.
DURINGTHEMONITORING
Wearthekitatalltimesduringyourmonitoringperiod(24hours)andperformyourdailyactivities
(work,sport,sleep,etc).Beawarethatball/bodycontactswiththedevicearenotrecommended.
Youcanshowerwithitwithoutanyproblemasitiswaterproof.Themorebeatsyourecord,the
moredatayouwillgetandthebetterandmoreaccuratethefinalreportwillbe.
ATTHEENDOFTHEMONITORING
•Switchoffthedevice.Todothis,pressandholdthecentrebuttonfor~8seconds.Youwillhear
threebeepsindicatingthatthedevicehasshutdownsuccessfully.
•Unplugthedevice+adapterfromthepatch.Theusedpatchisdisposable,butplease,returnthe
secondoneifunused.
•Givethekit(device+adapter+sparepatch)toyourunionlocalcoordinator.
•WhenwereceivethedataatIDOVENandourteamanalysestheresults,youwillrecei
