includingcreatingyourOceansite,andintegratingyourEMR.Thesestepsshouldtake30-45

minsandshouldbecompletedbyyourclinic’sOceanadministrator.

Step1:CompletetheGettingStartedGuide

Tobegin,youwillneedtofollowthethreestepsoutlinedintheOceanGettingStartedGuide.This

includescreatingafreeOceanuseraccount,creatingyourOceansiteandsubmittingyourOcean

requestform.Ifyouhaven’talreadysignedacontractforOceanservicesthroughOSCAR,thisshouldbe

signedandreturnedtoyourOSCARrepbeforethenextstepscanbecompleted.

Step2:IntegrateyourEMR

Onceyou’vereceivedconfirmationfromOceanyoucancontinuewiththisstep.Youwillneedto

integrateyourOceansite(createdinStep1)withyourOSCARProEMRbycompletingthefollowing

steps(toaccessdetailedinstructionsforeachstep,pleaseclickonthelinks):

●DownloadinstalltheOceaneForm,andToolbarintoyourOSCARProEMR

(theseare.htmland.jsfiles)fromtheAdministrationwindow.

●CreateashortcuttotheOceaneFormontheScheduletoeasilyaccessOceandirectlyfroma

patientsappointmentintheappointmentschedule.

●CreateanOcean-specificproviderandEMRuseraccountCloudConnectwillautomatically

usethisprovider/usertosyncwithyourEMR.

●LinkYourOSCARProEMRtoOcean.

●CreateyourRESTclientinyourOSCARProEMR.

●EdityourAppointmentStatusSettingsifyou’reusingPatientReminderswithOcean.

●Set-upOceanCloudConnect,asecure,web-basedportalthatallowsyoutomanageand
