•DONOTshortacrossterminalsPA/+andPC/–oracrosstheDCbuscapacitors.
•Beforeservicingthedrive:
-Disconnectallpower,includingexternalcontrolpowerthatmaybepresent.
-Placea“DONOTTURNON”labelonallpowerdisconnects.
-Lockallpowerdisconnectsintheopenposition.
-WAIT15MINUTEStoallowtheDCbuscapacitorstodischarge.
-MeasurethevoltageoftheDCbusbetweenthePA/+andPC/–terminalstoensurethatthevoltageislessthan42Vdc.
-IftheDCbuscapacitorsdonotdischargecompletely,contactyourlocalSchneiderElectricrepresentative.Donotrepair
oroperatethedrive.
