TheresearchwasbasedontwoseparatestudiesanditwascarriedoutbyT.BettinaCornwelloftheUniversityofOregonandAnnaR.McAlisterofMichiganStateUniversity.Inthefirststudy,60adultsbetweentheagesof19and23werequestionedabouttheroleoffoodanddrinks.Thesurveytellsusthatadultsprefersweeteneddrinkswithhigh-calorie,saltyfoods,tosweeteneddrinkswithvegetables.
