Abstract:TheframeworkofruralhouseholdenergyconsumptionthroughoutnortheasternChinawasanalyzedinthis

paper.Weresearched180familiesenergyend-use,energyuseandpowerconsumption.Theresultsindicatedthatthe

energeticcategoriesarefirewood,straw,coal,LPGandelectricity,amongwhichstrawandfirewoodaccountedfor

68.8%-78.3%ofallenergyconsumptionwasmostlargelyused,andcoalwasalsoupto16.0%-29.0%.LPGand

electricityconsumptionwasusedverylittleasonly2.9%-6.9%oftotalenergyconsumption.Energyusesinresidences

mainlyinvolvedcooking,heating,hotwatersupply,andtheusageofhouseholdappliances,suchas:lightingand

air-conditioning.Amongalloftheseenergyuses,cookingwasthemostcommon,thisaccountedfor41.2%-51.0%of

allenergyconsumption.Thesecondlyheatingwas32.8%-44.4%,hotwatersupplywas7.5%-15.5%,household

appliancesandlightingislessthan5.0%.
