    Abouttheauthor:EEMarlatt,wasanativeoftheStateofNewJersey.Hewasbornin

    August,1866.MarlattwasastudentintheEaston,PASchoolofBusiness.Whileinthe

    latterinstitutionhebecameinterestedinpenmanshipandengrossing,andspentmuchof

    histimeincopyingthespecimenswhichappearedinTheBusinessEducator.

    highestgradeofengrossingwork,includingpiecesforframingandalbumsthatarebeing
