HE ZhengBo , CHEN Bin , FEN G GuoZhong ( Institute of Insect Molecular B iology , College of L fi e Science , Chongqing N ormal University , Chongqing 　400047 , China) Abstract 　RNAi is a new technology for inhibiting gene expression in diverse organisms in recent years. The RNAi effect could spread from cells to cells in some insects , which induce the targeted gene specifically silenced in other tissues by introducing dsRNA into embryos , cavity or partial tissues. As a result , several methods of RNAi in insects have been reported , such as embryo RNAi , larval RNAi , adult RNAi , parental RNAi , feeding RNAi and heritable RNAi based on transgenic technique . These techniques have become widely used tools to knock down gene expression and analyze gene function , especially in nonmodel insects which the systematic recovery of mutants is not feasible . This paper focused on the systemic gene silencing of RNAi , RNAi technology and its applications in Entomology. Key words 　RNAi , systemic gene silencing , insect , application 摘 　要 　RNAi 是近几年发展起来的抑制基因表达的新技术 。部分昆虫存在 RNAi 信号的系统性传播现 象 ,可以将 dsRNA 直接注射进昆虫的卵 、血腔或局部组织 , 引发远距离靶基因的特异性沉默 ,建立起了 Embryo RNAi , Larval RNAi , Adult RNAi , Parental RNAi , Feeding RNAi 和基于转基因技术的可遗传 RNAi 等 昆虫 RNAi 技术 ,使 RNAi 迅速成为了研究昆虫尤其是非模式昆虫基因功能的主要方法 。文章拟就 RNAi 的系统性 、昆虫 RNAi 技术及其应用进行综述 。 关键词 　RNA
