IntroductionThere is no doubt that the US is the super developed country in the world, however lots of Americans have not realized the contributions that their ancestors have done for them, for the country even for the world. The Africa-American literature can be considered as the essential part of the contributions meanwhile it is one thumbnail of the whole country, which provides us a portrait of society during those periods. Having a clear understanding of Africa-American literature will help learners make an impartial judgment to the Blacks.The Africa-American literature consists five parts, those are: the Early Africa-American literature, the first climax, the second climax, the third climax, and the 21th century Africa-American literature. Among them the three climaxes are the most representative. The black Nobel Praise owner, the strongest black resistances, the most influential black writers all appeared during three climaxes. As an old Chinese saying said;?“see a whole world in a grain of sand”,from the analyzing of three climaxes we can discover the themes of whole Africa-American literature.This paper will focus on the background information, the representative writers, and the influences of each climax. All of these will help us to get a deep understanding of the three climaxes Africa-American literature.?????Ⅱ.
