To monitor the use of drugs of the community hospitals will help the doctors in community hospitals to raise their levels of prescribing drugs, reduce the risk of patient medication, improve the position of community hospitals and ensure the rational and safe use of drugs for patients. Methods: Parallel analysis on the categories of drugs and the share of drugs used between 55 community hospitals and more than 30 Grade II and Grade III general hospitals in Beij ing during 1-3 quarters was made. Results and Conclusion: The results show that there exist differences in the aspects of categories of drugs between community hospitals and Grade II and Grade III general hospitals.
