摘 要 富有极强个性的现代主义艺术脱离现实生活，脱离普通大众，世纪中期以后在西方没落多少个世纪以来一直以视觉活动为中心的绘画艺术开始丧失了它的中心地位取代了现代主义艺术开始操纵主宰艺术世界。作为一种文化艺术现象后现代主义艺术就是后工业社会信息时代的文化衍生物，它适应于后工业文明的发展，并逐步取代现代主义艺术成为世界性的主流文化后现代主义是世纪年代以来中国美术界最时髦的话题，然而没有任何一个源于西方的学术名词像后现代主义这样被赋予了如此丰富的多义性和歧义性。披览见诸报刊的众多有关文章以及打着这个招牌的各类美术创作，后现代主义几乎被当成了一个无所不包的杂货铺在许多中国年轻艺术家那里，后现代主义被演绎为泼皮无赖式的玩世不恭、社会责任感的丧失和崇高精神的消解。体现在画面上往往是可口可乐商标和京剧戏装人像的简单拼凑。尽管人类进入了信息时代，但西方后现代艺术在我国仍鲜有介绍，它的本真面目国人大都不谙其详。毫无疑问，这是造成对后现代主义的理解和诠释彼此矛盾的原因。通过对后现代主义新绘画的研究，发现艺术在其不同发展阶段出现的普遍的艺术发展规律，并且可以让我们更清楚地把握绘画艺术的发展趋势是西方当代现实的必然反映，包涵种种复杂素。他山之石，可以攻玉，全面，实事求是分析西方后现代文化，对于提高绘画艺术创作水平有诸多值得研究之处。Abstract Divorced from both the real life and the common people, the modernist arts with distinct characteristics gradually declined in the west world after the mid-20th century. Having revolving around the visual activities for many centuries, the art of painting began to lose its dominant position. After 1950, western post-modernist paintings broke the bondage of modernist arts so that they began to play the prominent role in place of modernist arts Following the modernist art, the post-modernist art is the anti-modernist and cultural phenomena or trend that criticized the modernist arts. But it is closely related with modernist art. As a cultural phenomenon, the post-modernist art is a byproduct of industrial society and the age of information, adapting itself to the development of post-industrial civilization and replacing modernist art to become the worldwide prevailing culture, which has exerted great impact on different aspects of social life. Its appearance shows people’s criticism and thought of the modernist civilization in the post-industrial and science and technology-based society, indicating that people want to break away from the crisis caused by the one-sidedness and extremes of the modernist civilization. In terms of concept and forms, the post-modernist art changes biased attitudes toward things of the modernist art. Its inclusion, complexity and contradiction make people hold different view
