Through the preparation of carbon fiber reinforced concrete specmi ens and the exertion of w ater pressure on these specmi ens, it is proved that carbon fiber can mi prove the mi permeability of concrete. When the carbon fiber content reaches 0. 6%, the mi perm eab ility of concrete mi provesmost sign ificantly. When the carbon fiber length is 10mm, the mi permeab ility of concrete is best. When the fiber content is less than 0. 2%, the w ater-cement ratio influences the concrete mi permeab ility more significantly. When the fiber content ismore than 0. 2% , thew ater-cement ratio has less influence on the concrete mi per- meab ility.
