The existing study fruits were summarized and the airport economy was defined firstly. Based on the understanding to the airport economy deeply, the development evaluation index system was set up which included four first-degree indexes, eight second-degree indexes and twenty three third-degree indexes in order to reflect the airport economy development status. The evaluation and the phase judgment methods were given out accordingly based on the assemble weight and matter-element method. Finally, 7 major airport economy areas were chosen to evaluate their status and determine their development phases. The evaluation and determinant results were analyzed deeply.
