Abstract
Abstract
This paper is focused on searching for a set of parameters, which is used as an element
in the parameter form of two degree of freedom (2DOF) controller, in order that the
system has non-overshoot step response, when the reference input is a step. We can
also prove that the parameter set we have found is not only a closed one, but also a
convex one for a fixed DC gain.
In this paper, the plant we are synthesizing is a SISO, LTI, one. The essential idea is to
locate the closed loop poles with respect to fixed and added zeros, appropriately. Two
