It is hoped that you’ll be able to visit our city in the near future. 如果过去分词是desired, demanded, ordered, requested, suggested, required, recommended等词,那么从句中需要用虚拟语气, 谓语动词用 “should + 动词原形”,should可省略。如: It was suggested that he (should) join the club activities.
