ABSTRACTObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect of Neck echelu ( meridian running course) Acupuncture on insufficient
blood supply of vertebro-basilar artery. ethods The 128 cases of insufficient blood supply of vertebro-basilar artery were
randomized into treatment group ( 84 cases and control group) ( 44 cases). T he treatment group was treated by Neck echelu
Acupuncture and the control group by traditional acupuncture therapy. T he symptoms and changes of average speed of blood flow of
basilar artery and bilateral vertebral arteries were examined by Doppler Ultrasonic Testing before and after treatment. ResultsAfter
two courses of treatment, the effect of treatment group was superior to that of the control group not only in relieving the symptoms
