The first and most important reason is that extracurricular activities can help to our health. At ordinary times, we students only focus a lot on academic study, many of us has some physical problems. If we have enough extracurricular activities, we can avoid those problems. Extracurricular activities can also help us to reduce our pressure keep us mentally health. If we have too much pressure and don’t release, we won’t succeed. Another reason to support my idea is that extracurricular activities can help us to understand our knowledge better. We gain a lot of knowledge from our text books, but we don’t actually know how the theories are used in daily life. Through some extracurricular activities, we can experience the theories by ourselves. Then we can know them better. As the saying goes, the theory links to the reality. Extracurricular activities provide us the access to do this. So from what has been discussed, one can reach only this conclusion that extracurricular activities are helpful and necessary to us students. Students should not spend the whole day on academic study. If we can manage to strike a good balance between academic study and outside-class activities, our school life will be more enjoyable.
