(＝He came back at midnight and he was tired and badly wounded.过去分词短语相当于伴随状语)。 二、连词＋分词(短语) 为了使分词短语与主句关系更清楚，可在分词前加连词，常用的连词有：once，when，while，if，though，although，after，before，as等。如： 1．Once tasted，the dish is hard to forget.(＝Once the dish is tasted，it is hard forget)． 2．If heated，ice can be changed into water.(＝If ice is heated，it can be changed into water.) 3．Though told many times，he didnt understand it.(＝Though he was told many times，he didnt understand it.) 一、用所给单词的适当形式完成下列句子。 1．When______( compare )with the women in the United States，more Chinese women are quite lucky to hold high positions. 2．The building ________( build )now is for us teachers.
