Abstract
T he Qianechong Mo deposit located in Guangshan Count y of Henan P rovince is a superlarge concealed por-
phyry Mo deposit new ly discovered at the nort hern foot of t he Dabie M ount ain on t he basis of previous prospect-
ing for Pb- Zn and Cu deposits. Ore bodies occur in Devonian N anw an Formation and are cont rolled by concealed
intrusive bodies and st ruct ures. T he ore- controlling rock is charact erized by rich silica and abundant alkali w ith
high K/ N a ratios and aluminum content , and cont act met amorphism is not well developed bet ween t he rock
body and t he w all rock. Filling mineralizat ion is dominant in the ore deposit . T he main molybdenitized minera-
lizations include disseminations, vein
