Abstract: Th e op erating p rinc ip le of th e selfp ressu rized hydrostaticdynam ic hyb rid lub rication gas seal( SHDHLGS)

by sofwt are FLUENT. The d istribu tions of pressu re and velocity and the p erform ance param eters of th e seal such as the
open ing force, stiffness, and leakage d istribu tion w ere obtain ed. T he operat ing characteristics o f th is seal und er stab le con
d ition andw ork ing status of the start and stop runn ing w ere analyzed and compared w ith the operat ing ch aracteristics o f flu
