It’s steel single-deck, single bottom, single-propeller, alone rudder, stern-engine ship, mainly engaged in trainsport cereal salt, coal, sand and other department, navigating zones for Type II. This part includes analysis with specification and model ship, because of the design ship is similar to the model ship, and the block coefficient is equal, determination of proposed ship’s principal dimensions and displacement, in summing, the length overall of this ship is 66.025 meters, beam is 12.5m, depth is 5.65m, design draft is 4.4m, displacement is 2049.56t, in addition weight and gravity center estimate, the balance of gravity and buoyancy; The ship’s lines plan and general arrangement plan are developed accordind to imitation transformation; Then use keystoning method to compute hydrostatic curve, and initial stability estimate. And use variable displacement method to estimate stability at large angle. After that, draw four typical case of displacements’ statical stability curve and curve of dynamical stability. At last, figure out stability criterion numeral.
