【投稿英文期刊】中国人常犯的错误 【编者按】如今要取得博士学位必需要有SCI文章，许多人因此纷纷投稿英文期 刊。许多人在投稿英文期刊时会遇到这样或那样的问题，生物通将就这个问题为 大家提供系列的文章。首先介绍的是一位审阅过200余篇稿、以英语为母语的审 稿人写的中国人常范的错误，相信这些错误具有一定代表性，希望能够帮助各位 正在为paper奋斗的莘莘学子们。 如果你是以英语为母语，那么下面所讲的问题可能不会成为问题。但是，对于学 中文出身的人有一个非常麻烦的语法问题，那就是冠词（article）。这之所以 会成为一个问题也是非常容易理解的，因为中文里面根本没有与之相对应的部 分，同理，外国人也对量词感到费解。学英语最初接触的就是a, an, the，但 是，学到最后发现被难住的也是这三个简单的词。 单数前的a, an, the是最容易被忽略的。冠词意味着后面将出现一个名词，在 冠词余名词之间的修饰词语都是针对这个名词的（如：a big blue bicycle/the first award ），a和an是不定冠词，the是定冠词。下面将举几个错误的例子： Incorrect Figure 2 shows the distribution of relative velocity on surface of main and splitter blades.
