By examining the Japanese logistics, the logistics system of innovative ideas in its modernization and internationalization process, the policy support and logistics industry-oriented of gov- ernment, the comprehensive logistics regulations and the smooth coordination mechanism between government de- partments, setting up special funds, building logistics public information platform, playing the role of industry asso- ciations, integrating modern logistics resources, enhancing the standard system and industry system of statistical in- dicators, as well as high-tech enterprise applications, scale effect, meticulous management, rational allocation of so- cial resources and other successful experiences all provide an important international inspiration of the moderniza- tion and internationalization of Chinese logistics. Key words: logistic in Japan, policy support, social resource 物流业是融合运输业、仓储业、货代业和信息业等的复合型服务产业，是国 民经济的重要组成部分，涉及领域广，吸纳就业人数多，促进生产、拉动消费作用 大，在促进产业结构调整、转变经济发展方式和增强国民经济竞争力等方面发挥 着重要作用。 在此，通过考察日本物流业，对其物流业发展的现代理念及经验进 行论述。 一、 日本物流的现状及趋势 现代物流理念发轫于美国。
