It mainly expounds the writer’s awareness and understanding of traditional decorative style, skills and artistic language of lacquer art. Traditional lacquer containers play an inspirative role in the development of modern lacquer paintings. The Chinese lacquer paintings come from ancient lacquer containers. Therefore lacquer painting has its own artistic language which is different from that of other kinds of paintings. Nowdays art is diversified, so the development of modern lacquer painting requires to take in the essence of modern art on the basis of inheriting traditional art so as to conform to the requirements of the modern aesthetics.
