The relationships etween the tower natural frequencies and the w indwheel rotational fre- quency were studied under cond itions that the tur ine tow er has doorw ays or not. Som e foundational conclusions of the tur ine towerw as o tained y the d iscussion of the influencing factors of tow ers natural frequency. The analytical results indicated that the doorw ays pro- duce few influence on the towers natural frequency; there exists a decreasing linear relationsh ip ewt een the towers first-order natural frequency and the tow er top quality; the tow ers low-order frequency p lays am ajor role in determ ining whether to cause the tow er and the w ind wheel drive resonance.
