After 12 years directly under the rapid development of Chongqing has become Chinas interior a bright pearl. The geographical location of the western city of Chongqing is the biggest advantage for the development of MICE industry in Chongqing. Since the city promoted municipality, Chongqing has built Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Center, Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum, and other professional exhibition facilities, a total area of more than 120 thousand square meters, and successfully held the Asia-Pacific City Summit, National sugar distilling trade fair,National Book Fair, and other exhibitions and festivals, has been gradually formed, such as Yu Qiahui, the Three Gorges International Tourism Festival, Chongqing Hi-tech Fair, Bishan shoes Fair, Wulong Challenge international rock climbing more than 30 brands such as exhibitions. Meanwhile, the big cities, large rural areas of Chongqing complete the development of exhibition industry, has provided strong support for Changing’s MICE industry. Thus, Chongqing is fully capable of in the near future has been the building of Chinas exhibition capital. In this paper, the status quo is the main convention and exhibition industry in Chongqing with Chinas MICE industry analysis of the actual situation.
