Inductive Language Learning Ability Example: Foreign Language Aptitude Test MLAT : Modern Language Aptitude Test - by John B.Carroll and Stanley Sapon(1959) PLAB : Pimsleur Language Aptitude Batter - by Paul Pimsleur(1965) Experiment From the textbook, we can see that aptitude includes many abilities, and teachers can use the weaknesses and strengths of abilities to place students in proper teaching programs. A study which conducted by Marjorie Wesche(1981) will explain it . Report Wesche reported that the students who matched with their aptitude profiles had got the satisfactory results and may be able to attain higher levels of achivemens than those who are unmatched.
