M F and a mult i gear f ix ed st ep rat io transm ission Based on t he analysis of types of H MT and styl es of hy draulic transm issio n, t he general drive scheme f or HM CVT is o bt ained. T he met ho d of select ing t he mechanical paramet er s and hy draulic unit s are ex plained, and t he st epless speed regulatio n charact erist ics of HM CVT is analyzed. T he t heoret ical tract ive char act er ist ic cur ves are dr aw n. T he tract ive perfo rmance of original tract or and im pro ved tracto r are com pared. T he study show s t hat t he tr act or assembled w it h HM CV T can pro vide a cont inuo usly v ariable speed. Additionally , in any tract ive f orce, t he eng ine w orks near f ull load.
