With the scale of Chinas GSM network expanding and the penetration rate of users rising ceaselessly, people pay more and more attention to the call quality problem. One the issue of drop calls and congestion problem become the focus of attention. The same for the network operators, how to reasonable distribute, adjust the network resources, improve the service quality and reduce the drop words and congestion becomes the key of the work. This thesis mainly expounds the reasons and the solutions of GSM congestion and GSM’s drop worlds from several aspects. The first chapter simply summarizes the GSM network structure and the main unit. The second chapter analyses the reason of GSM network optimization. the third chapter analyses the reason of GSM network congestion and put forward solutions. The fourth chapter analyses the reason of GSM ’s drop words and proposes the solution . In a word, with the GSM
