Dear Parents, 各位家長： The Chinese traditional festival, Chung Yeung Festival, will be on 26th October, 2009 (Monday). It is a school holiday. This festival has a long history. The main activities on this festival are family gatherings and hiking together to enjoy the great autumn weather and the natural environment. Our school highly recommends parents to bring their children to do some hiking or other outdoor activities. It doesn’t only let the children have opportunities to enjoy the natural environment but also help to consolidate parent-child relationship. 十月二十六日(星期一)為中國傳統的重陽節，學校放假一天。重陽節的歷史由來已久，主要的習俗是藉着秋高氣爽，與家人親屬一同登高郊遊，欣賞大自然風景。學校亦建議家長藉此假日，帶領孩子進行登高或其他戶外活動，既可增加孩子接觸大自然的機會，又可凝聚親子感情。 Please pay attention to the following items: 以下事項，敬請垂注： Be a Healthy, Happy Kid Award Scheme 健康快樂好孩子獎勵計劃 Students will bring the passport home for parents’ signature. Please sign Passport on page 4 and page 6 for “week 7-8”. It is encouraged that parents read though the passport content with their kids. The success of this campaign depends on parent’s support. Hong Kong Cricket Sixes 2009 - All Stars’ School Visit 香港六人板球賽 2009 ─ 球星訪校 Our school has invited the Hong Kong Cricket Association (HKCA) to visit our school on 30th October (Friday). On this day, the HKCA will invite Cricket Sixes stars to share cricket experiences and skills with our students. They will also work with the school cricket team and teach them some important skills.
