The first class in College I can still remember the awful memory in my first class in the college. An old woman full o wrinkles about 50 years old in dark longuette slowly walked into the classroom with a kind smile. Watching such an old teacher stepping closer and closer onto the platform. I felt excited and couldn’t wait to take her lesson thinking that is the real professor in college. But when she opened the text book, started to read the first sentence and explained the meaning of the text for us , my ideal English major class was broken instantly. “What a poor oral English!” I thought. Whereas she read the text and explained the meaning in earnest, I should believe that the progress of the course would take a turn for the better. Until she put an end to her lengthy even trivial explanation instead of interpretation , the atmosphere had been boring. Finally the class was over. I went to ask her some confusing problems about the text. It seemed that she shuffled off answering the questions and said she would tell me more details later. At that moment, I felt extremely losing my faith in this course. What a terribly fearful class that I have had for the beginning of my study in college. 谢 谢 !
