I spent a weekend at National Camping School getting recertified for Webelos Resident camp Program Director. It was humbling – 50 plus over achieving fun loving Cub Scout leaders all in one place. All doing cheers, songs, and goofy Cub Scout stuff. I was honored to be asked to lead the campfire. But my usual stuff did not work. They knew all the tricks!!! Many thanks to Jane who introduced me to the group, exposing my secret identity of Commissioner Dave. It was great weekend and will keep me at the keyboard for a few more months.
