Teaching steps:
Step 1: lead-in
The teacher asks the students some questions to arouse their interest in learning the text.
Will you miss a friend if you have not seen him or her for a long time?
In our real life, we may lose touch with friend after we stay away from each other for a long time. How can you friend with whom you have lost touch?
Today we are going to study a passage about how a person find a friend with whom he have lost touch?
Step 2: read and answer the question
Let the students read the text and try to find out the main idea of each paragraph..
Then check the answer.
Answer: para.1: the website called Friends Reunited brings together old friends who have not seen each other for a long time.
para.2: how the website was set up and developed?

Step 3: careful-reading:
Let the students read the passage again and answer the following questions.
