A few months earlier，an Australian politician was expelled from his party after he made racist remarks about American President Barack Obama.Similarly，in the UK，politician Stuart MacLennan was also fired by Britains governing Labor Party after making offensive comments about the opposition on his Twitter account.According to a report by Digital Media,8 percent of US companies admit to firing workers because of Facebook activities，while 48 percent of employers are screening(筛选)applicants using social media sites.
