At Anfield, more than 25,000 gathered, fans, relatives, players past and present to mark a quarter of a century since the tragedy. On the famous pitch scarves form the number 96 to honor those who died. And there is local clergymen read out names of the victims. Lights were lit inside against silver ring to commemorate the fathers and sons, brothers and sisters who went to a football game and never returned.
