Discussion on hierarchy optimization of water treatment technology

Abstract : Based on the model established by analytic hierarchy process ，the water treatment
scheme for the city waterworks was selected． The suitable treatment process and parameters were selected
under different water quality conditions． According to the nine indexes in the model ，such as capital
expenditure ，water production cost ，social benefits ，treatment efficiency ，convenience of operation and
management ，safety of operation and power consumption ，the best comprehensive benefits could be
achieved ，and it was defined as the optimal item ，so that the optimal processes could be obtained．
