 INTRODUCTION TO COLLABORATION The collaboration between the Inner Mongolian Medical College and the University of Bradford, UK was officially established on February 23, 2009, in order to enhance the autonomous region’s life sciences provision though the development of international-oriented talented people. This will be done through the introduction of high quality overseas resources in the life sciences and this represents the first such collaboration. The development will have a profound significance to the community and on the development of Life Sciences in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is a research active University, but nevertheless, its objective of Making Knowledge Work ensures that much of the research is directly relevant to industry, commerce and the professions. The courses are tailored to the needs of employers and, as a result, it has an excellent employment record in all branches of pharmacy and healthcare provision. It has 140 undergraduate and 80 postgraduate degree specializations that are highly ranked in the UK, and offered at its Schools in Engineering, Computing, Health Studies, Life Sciences, Social Sciences and Management. Its business management EMBA program ranks third in England and supports studies in international commerce and management, finance, accounting and marketing.
