Perspective of Process Philosophy Meng Jianying （School of Education Science , Guangxi Normal University ,Guilin 541004） Abstract : Teachers’ professional development is a continuous and in-depth development through one’s career process, which is also a kind of complexity of arduous professional development path. But there is no shortage of teachers in the professional development of complacency and stagnation. They regard teachers’ professional development as a periodical and temporally thing, and even immobilized or rigid. A new growth point of contemporary philosophy development is that process philosophy emphasizes that the universe is a live organism. It is in an eternal process of evolution and the fundamental characteristics of organisms are activities. All the activities reflect an endless process of the whole universe. This paper combines the specialties of process philosophy’s integrity, generative, symbiosis, diversity, creativity, intrinsic correlation interdependence and other interactive qualities with the definition of process philosophy on organism, prehension, nexus and process,. Explore teachers’ professional development under the vision of process philosophy so as to provide a different path of professional development for teachers.
