Big karst caves can also cause construction slowly or modify the line of tunnel, So karst distribution and survey appear particularly important. Karst development by the karst area regional structure, strata distribution, weather, groundwater and other factors, which mani- fested as peculiar distribution characteristics. Based on the analysis of the many factors, form the macroscopic judgment of karst distribution. Through the contrast analysis of many kinds karst prospecting method, sum- marized the remote sensing image discrimination and high-frequency magnetotelluric sounding in karst re- gion, by means of the combination of tunnel engineering survey methods, this method in appropriate million lines in the karst area of railway engineering 15 verified, has the high feasibility.
