M ethod s: Fifty six patients w ith advanced pancreatic cancerw ere treated by regional palliative surgery and chemotherapy pump mi plantation using gemcitabine chemotherapy. R esu lts: Patients treated by palliative surgery and the postoperative chemotherapy w ith gemcitabine survived 0. 5~ 3 years, themedian survival tmi e w as 19months and recurrence andmetastasis occared in 19. 64% no treatment- related death and IV degree adverse reaction.
