B t the b ilding design there is fineness, not only resolves the problems s ch as cold,frost, lightlacking, soilicing, b t also creates the comfortable room and reserves the winter citys regional feat re. This article introd ces the b ilding design practice of Norways north cold region, ill strates some representative b ildings, and disc sses their consideration abo t weather, landform, traditional c lt re and regional feat re. In addition, this article introd ces the scientific method and traditional constr ction technology. At last, it points o t some lessons for o r co ntrys b ilding design in cold regions as well: deferring to climate, reserving the regional feat re, adopting feasible technologies.
