Ab stract: It is introduced the problem s in casting RH - sm elted low - carbon steel in 1 700 production line of
No. 1 Steel Rolling M ill of ang Steel: nozzle blocked up and liqu id surface changed, w h ich affected the
quality of casting billet and caused casting heats less. W ith research to substance and physics and chem istry
index of it, the utilization life of argon- blow ing upper nozzle is guaranteed asw ell as good perm eab ility;
tw o w ays of blow ing argon is determ ined accord ing to d ifferent accum ulating situation of conclusion at vari-
ous part of nozzle. By them easures the above problem s got solved.
