Vol. 4 No.9/ Sep. 010 高帽变换中基于互信息准则的尺度选择 Scale Selection for Morphological Top-hat Transformation Based on Mutual Information 温铁祥 辜嘉 王磊 摘 要 多尺度的形态学高帽变换广泛的应用于模式识别领域，但对尺度的选择仍然是非常的主观和依赖于经验。基于互 信息的度量准则，本文提出了一种自动选取最优尺度的模型，并对该模型的收敛性进行了详细的证明和分析。实验结果表 明本文提出的尺度选择方法能为高帽变换在去除非均匀背景光照上提供最优的尺度。 关键词 尺度选择；高帽变换；互信息；形态学 ABSTRACT　Multi-scale morphological top-hat transformation has been widespread used in pattern recognition, but the selection of the scale is still very subjective and empirical. To automate the scale selection, an automatic scale selection approach based on mutual information is proposed and the property of the proposed criterion based on mutual information is investigated extensively in this paper. Experimental results indicated that the proposed scale selection algorithm was capable of selecting the proper scale to the top-hat transformation for the extraction of uneven background illumination.
