Complexity of ore controlling fractures of Dajishan tungsten deposit. Earth Science Frontiers , 200 , 16(4) : 320-325 Abstract: T o understand the complex ity of the development and evolution of ore-cont rollin fracture system in Dajishan tun sten deposit, Quannan County, Jian xi Province, w e collected rock samples at different depth of deposit, and performed experiment s on rock acoustic emission. The results showed t hat the sequence of rock a- coustic emission events has a distinctive feature, and enerally oes throu h three processes of occurrence, qui- escence and burst. T he onset and development of fracture system has a cascade of avalanches-punctuated equi- librium hierarchic fractal structure. The breakin process is extremely discont inuous in time, and the ener y release in t he process is also discontinuous and decreasin wit h depth, which reflects t he development of miner- alization. The author applies the theory of complexity to study in the ore-controllin fract ures of the vein-type tun sten ore deposits in Dajishan. The followin conclusions were draw n.
