Methods The clinic l m nifest t ions, b cteriologic l findings of sputum, nd nt imicro- bi l suscept ibility of the isol ted p t hogens w ere n lyzed retrospectively by reviewing the medic l records of 54 7 p tients with infection second ry to tuberculous bronchiect sis. These p tients w ere hospit lized in the pulmon ry w rd of Wux i H ospit l of Infectious Dise ses from J nu ry 2 007 to J nu ry 20 09 . Results Sputum culture w s positive for p t hogenic b cteri in 29 . 0 % of the 54 7 c ses, posit ive for fungi in 10. 3 % of t he 54 7 c ses. The prev lence of sme r-positive ctive pulmon ry tuberculosis w s 18% . Conclusions The p thogens in the infections second ry to tuberculous bronchiect sis w ere prim rily gr m neg t ive b cter-i . The nt imicrobi l ther py should cover ntibiotics ctive for gr m-neg tive org nisms. Combin t ion nt imicrobi l ther py is usu lly good choice.
