In the g iv en conditio n of chemical co mpo stions, the alloy w as w ater quenched at 93 0 and tempered at ( 230 10) . T he hardness and impact toughness of the alloy w er e satisf actory. How ever, w hen the alloy w as quenched at 1 150 , the har dness and toughness w ere not so goo d.
