AmethodtocalculatedisplacementfactorsusingSVM LiPeixian TanZhixiangYanLiliDengKazhong KeyLaboratoryofLandEnvironmentandDisasterMonitoringofSBSM,ChinaUniversityofMiningTechnology,Xuzhou221116,China JiangsuKeyLaboratoryofResourcesandEnvironmentalInformationEngineering,ChinaUniversityofMiningTechnology,Xuzhou221116.China Inordertoimprovetheprecisionofminingsubsidenceprediction,amathematicalmodelusingSupport VectorMachine(SVM)wasestablishedtocalculatethedisplacementfactor.Thestudyisbasedona 2010-08-26 comprehensiveanalysisoffactorsaffectingthedisplacementfactor,suchasmechanicalpropertiesof 2010-10-21 thecoverrock,theratioofminingdepthtoseamthickness,dipangleofthecoalseamandthethickness oflooselayer.Dataof63typicalobservationstationswereusedasatrainingandtestingsampleset.A SVMregressionmodelofthedisplacementfactorandthefactorsaffectingitwasestablishedwitha Keywords: kernelfunction,aninsensitivelossfactorandaproperlyselectedpenaltyfactor.Givenanaccurate Miningsubsidence; Displacementfactor; calculationalgorithmfortestingandanalysis,theresultsshowthatanSVMregressionmodelcancalcu SVM; latedisplacementfactorpreciselyandreliableprecisioncanbeobtainedwhichmeetsengineering Probabilityintegrationmethod requirements.Theexperimentalresultsshowthatthemethodtocalculationofthedisplacementfactor, basedontheSVMmethod,isfeasible.Themanyfactorsaffectingthedisplacementfactorcanbeconsid eredwiththismethod.Theresearchprovidesanefficientandaccurateapproac
