Isolation, Extraction and Determination of the Water2 soluble Vitamin from Sun Papaya

Abstract [Objective] The method of e traction and isolation of thewater2soluble vitamin in papaya was studied. [Method] Thewater2 soluble vitamin in
papaya was e tracted with the methods of cold2soaking, thermal e traction and ultrasonic way, respectively, and its content was determined with the high2
performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) . [Results] The highest e traction efficiencywas from the ultrasonic e traction and the content ofwater2soluble
vitamin in papaya can be rapidly declared with HPLC. [Conclusion] HPLCmethod was simple, fast and with accurate and reliable results.
