Abs tract: On thebasis of field investigation, therewere 62 orchid species, belonging to 33 genera in Qiyunshan
Nature Reserve, JiangxiProvince, inwhich terrestrialwere dom inantwith 45 species to 22 genera, and 16 species
to 11 genera for epiphytic and 1 species to 1 genera for saprophytic. The endem ic to China and temperate species
weremainly distributed in the high altitude above 1000m; the tropicalspeciesweremainly distributed in the low
altitude below 400m. Therewere 21monotypic genera, accounting for 63. 6% of totalgenera in theReserve. The
orchid genera in Qiyunshan Nature Reserve could be divided into 11 area-l types and 2 areal-subtypes. The East
sia distribution in species levelwas dom inant. There are 15 spe
