It is expo sed that since 1980 s the quan tity of nonnative popu lation in Guangzhou ha s rap idly increa sed, wh ile the sp atial distribu tion ha s changed en tirely. Nonnative popu lation that concen trated in cen tral dis trict in the beginn ing years of 1980 s ha s been concen trating in inner subu rb and extending to ou tside subu rb. A ccording to the sp atial change of nonnative pop u lation in Guangzhou , the au thor pu ts forward som e coun term ea su re s to strengthen city popu lation m anagem en t and u rban p lann ing and con struction.
