At the first part, it will show a introduction of the paper. Next, it comes to the background of Charles Dickens, which includes three parts. They are social situation in that time, the main contents of the novel, and the purpose of the novel. Besides, this paper will present the conflict between money and family love in Dombey and Son. This part is also divided into three parts. The first part is Dombey抦onetary view, which hincludes seeking heir and mould his son to be a capitalist like him.
